Growing Pains

Lyrics Written with Friends

Put an apple on my head, now,
hoping gravity will pull down what was a perfect shot…
angle I forgot.
Stop the ringing in my ears.
Maybe my draw has been a point of grace,
a point to live by in my lot in space
passed over by the divine, humans.
Pass a shot around.

The Moon
A mere reflection of something true
Something far away
Something in the mirror.
Mere mirrors
dancing around my mis-
takes.

The way you’re looking back at you,
lines of judgement written on our face,
caress of smoke on curtain lace,
carcass of lion in his shoes.
Meekness evades through disparity and
imparts to me no vision.

I …
am falling like I am asleep

I view these things are breaking out of vision
